Judaism gave birth to Marxism

Harry Waton wrote in 1939:
"It is not an accident that Judaism gave birth to Marxism, and it is not an accident that the Jews readily took up Marxism; all this was in perfect accord with the progress of Judaism and the Jews.

Where did you find info on Rabbi Waton? I've been looking for it, but so far have had little success.

I did the usual, go through google books and google news archive.
