I knew that there was a huge statue of Jewish supremacist Vladimir
Lenin in Seattle.
I've previously post here on
it and
another statue of the mass-murderer in
New York.
But I only just found out, that it's
in-front of a purpose built Masonic
Lodge, which was completed in 1909.
This is Fremont in Seattle as view on
Google Earth. The yellow circle is where
the
the Lenin statue stands, A is
"North 36th Street", and B is
"Fremont Place North."
Both A & B are where the images below
are viewed as on GE's "Street View"
The neon sign reads "Doric Temple"
Doric Lodge No.92, website:
Seattle's Lenin statue placement near Doric Lodge 92 is purely coincidental. The statue was bought by a Seattle man who died in an auto accident shortly after having it sent in pieces from East Europe where he bought it at scrap metal prices. It languished in pieces on his rural property for a number of years before Peter Bevis of the Fremont Foundry rescued it, reassembled it and got permission from the Fremont Arts Council to place it on the corner where it rests today. The Masons at Doric Lodge 92 had nothing to do with this public art project.
