Ferrer (1900-1952) was
a Jewish Russian poet and member of the Jewish
Anti-Fascist Committee
During WWII he wrote a poem
called "I
am a Jew" which
lavishes praise on Jewish
Bolsheviks:
I am a Jew who has drunk up
Happiness from Stalin's cup.To those who would let Moscow go
Under the ground, I call out--"No."
The Slavs are my brothers, too,
