Anne Frank died of typhus at
Bergen-Belsen in March 1945 before the
Germans handed the camp over to the
British on April 15, 1945.
This fact didn't stop Pulitzer Prize
winning journalist Jack Anderson in
1968, from quoting Anne Frank on the
infamous Dr. Joseph Mengele.
Unsurprisingly he doesn't provide a
source for his assertion.
"... the tall, handsome, greying
Mengele, described by the little Jewish
girl Anne Frank as the "angel of
extermination"
