A
Zionist´s Attemp to
Regain
Foothold in The Debate
Many
Zionists may have been frustrated by the
Israrelians´ failure to take a descent stand
in their so-called peace-process with the
Palestinians. At least this has been the case in
Sweden.
But
now that the time has come to celebrate the
50-years jubillée - That is Zionist
occupation and the Palestinian an-nakba (=disaster)
- at least one pro-Israelian in Sweden has made an
attempt to regain foothold, and his namne is Per
Ahlmark. For those who are not initiated in the
debate in Sweden, I can tell you that Mr Ahlmark
has for several decades defended western
"Liberalism" against the rights of different
peoples around the world to revolt against colonial
oppression.
In
his column in the Dagens Nyheter (=Sweden´s
biggest morning paper) of thursday May, 14th, he
asks retorically:
"Give
the namne of any regim in the vicinity of Israel
which we ourselves whould like to have as a
neighbour!"
And
he argues that all the Arab States are dictatures,
and that this is the roots of the Israelians´
problems.
The
logical counter-questions to Mr Ahlmark must
be:
1)
Why
have the Arab States around Israel mainly not been
running wars against each other?
and
2)
Why
have many democraties in Western Europe themselves
been supporting dictators in The Middle East,
sometimes against popularly founded Islamist
movements?
I
also want to point out at this moment that the
famous french revisionist and Islamic Convertit
Roger Garoudy has been very well accepted in Egypt,
while he has been - at the same time - repressed in
France. On the other hand, Edward Said has been
allowed to defend the traditional - but shaken -
European view on the Holocaust. So here comes my
third question to Mr Ahlmark:
3)
Why is it, that Revisionism regarding WWII and the
Holocaust may prosper and may be debated in Egypt
and the Muslim World, when the Revisionists in
Europe are being met by censorship and
sticks?
Let´s
make a guess that Mr Ahlmark will evade these
question in order to maintain the oppression over
the Palestinians and the Europeans.
