Nour
el-Sayyed
(Mahmoud
Nour
El-deen)
will
serve as a torch for our children
who unfortunately, do not have
many
heroes
now-a-day.

I thank Allah
Subhanahu wa- ta'ala for rewarding me by
knowing Nour el-Sayyed
as we called him when
we worked for him at his famous
magazine July 23,
published in London in
the late seventies.
A Palestinian
journalist, I was the only non-Egyptian in
that magazine. Nour
selected me to
represent Egypt to every meeting and
ralley. I represented the
people of Egypt to the
Yemnite conference in Birmingham, the
festival of
Independence in Iraq
and the progressive Arab conference in
Berlin- Germany.
"Palestine is an
Egyptian problem," He repeatedly assured
me. Nour
suffered memories of when he received the
Egyptian soldiers who were
blinded by the
Israelies who removed their cornea and
planted it to Jews.
"Thousands of them," He
cried.
Meanwhile I want to
tell you that his memory will only expand
and serve as
a torch for our children who
unfortunately, do not have many
heroes
now-a-day.
Nour:
May Allah reward you a
home under his ARSH with the prophets and
the saints.
I shall read a Fatiha
especially for you with every
prayer.
I love you my
brother.
